Have you ever wondered what the Witcher 3 Max Level is? Me too. It seems like that game goes on forever! Turns out, there is an upper limit! However, this depends on what edition you’re playing.
If you haven’t played The Witcher 3 yet, then I’m surprised. Even I played it for a good chunk of time, not that I enjoyed it (okay, sue me!). Witcher 3 Max Level For The Base Game Is 70
Depending on how much you’ve already played, this is either incredibly high or fairly low. Either way, on your first playthrough, it is VERY unlikely that you’ll hit this benchmark. Typically, players hit around level 35 on their first playthrough. Simply put, the game doesn’t have enough questlines in it to make it easy to hit level 70. For The Complete Version, The Max Level Is 100
With the Blood & Wine expansion, The Witcher 3’s max level is taken all the way up to 100. It seems a crazy amount, but that’s thanks to Blood & Wine’s new mutations which require more XP to gain access to.
It’s important to note that just because Geralt can hit an upper level limit… The enemies can’t. Well, they’re not limited to that level. That means when you start hitting that upper limit, expect to see level 100 monsters out there with you!
