The classic Sega Genesis FPS title Zero Tolerance will soon be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Coming from publisher QUByte Classics, the Zero Tolerance Collection includes the original Genesis title, the unreleased sequel Zero Tolerance Underground, and a prototype demo named Beyond Zero Tolerance which is unlockable after finishing either of the main games.
While not the most well-known Genesis game of its era, Zero Tolerance is notable for pushing Sega’s console to its limits and producing something akin to 3D visuals in an era where console hardware wasn’t exactly capable of rivalling PCs.
Alongside a digital release in the near future, Zero Tolerance Collection will be receiving a physical edition courtesy of boutique label Strictly Limited Games. Available for both PS4 and Switch, fans will be able to choose from a regular Limited Edition copy and a Special Limited Edition copy.
The Limited Edition runs for $34.99 and will come with just the game on a disc or cartridge. The Special Limited Edition will set you back $59.99 and comes packed with a special box, the game’s soundtrack, some flyers and posters, a couple of stickers, a postcard set, and a board stand. For hardcore fans, it really doesn’t seem like a bad deal.
Pre-orders for the physical edition will go live this weekend on Strictly Limited’s website. If you’re interested in playing Zero Tolerance right now, a PC release via Steam is currently available for $11.99. All things considered, it seems like fans have enjoyed the PC version according to Steam user reviews.
